Every epoch has its history. And when it comes to stories, Hotel Gerbe has a lot to tell. The buildings of our Hotel and Peters Restaurant were documented before the 17th century and were part of the Kreuzlingen Monastery. They were used as a tannery, wine bar and for organic farming, which triggered the Jacob family in 1710 to root themselves here, so that the story of family hospitality could begin. After decommissioning the tannery in 1907, the hotel business gradually developed, for which the whole family continues to work today. Nowadays, Dietlinde and Peter take care of the fate of Hotel Gerbe and thus continue a long tradition. Because there is always something to do at the Gerbe.
